Pick of the Week

March 9, 2012

I’m a proud member of the Salem Library’s Book Group. I represent the under-50 demographic, and I love it. This month our book is The Hunger Games. I had heard many good things about it and was pretty excited that they picked it. I read it last week . . . or I should say: I read it in one night last week. Seriously, I haven’t stayed up that late since college. It sucked me right in, and I couldn’t get away. It was part 1984, a pinch of The Lord of the Flies. Yes. If you haven’t read it, and I suspect I may the last one to the party (again), you should go get it. Now. What? You’ve got all weekend.

In other news, I gave this blog a face-lift. Check her out. I think she looks pretty. And if you used to subscribe to MAB LIBS via Google Friend Connect, you may want to update your feed subscription in Google Reader. Google retired Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. The new feed is Thanks again for reading, and have a fabulous weekend!
